Fly Fofa Aviation Training is offering exciting training opportunities for unemployed youth in Gauteng Province.

These full-time programs come with accommodation and a monthly stipend, and they cover a range of aviation-related fields. Here are the available programs and how to apply:


Training Programs Available:

1. Advanced Pilot Training

  • Overview: Focuses on building flying hours for those with a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), enhancing employment prospects in the aviation industry.
  • Duration: 24 months (includes accommodation and monthly stipend).
  • Requirements:
    • South African citizen.
    • Aged 25 or younger.
    • Residing in Gauteng.
    • Must have a valid CPL.
    • Must have a valid Medical Certificate.

2. Initial Cabin Crew Training

  • Overview: This program prepares you to become a flight attendant, covering all the necessary theory, practicals, and SACAA exams required for a Cabin Crew License.
  • Duration: 12 weeks (includes accommodation and monthly stipend).
  • Requirements:
    • South African citizen.
    • Aged between 18 to 23.
    • Residing in Gauteng.
    • Completed Grade 12.
    • Minimum Level 5 in English.
    • Aviation Medical Examination required.
    • Minimum height of 1.6m.
    • Motivated, safety-oriented, and culturally sensitive.

3. Remote Pilot (Drone) Certificate

  • Overview: Comprehensive training to become a certified drone pilot, covering drone regulations, flying practices, and practical skills.
  • Duration: 12 weeks (includes accommodation and monthly stipend).
  • Requirements:
    • South African citizen.
    • Aged between 18 to 23.
    • Residing in Gauteng.
    • Completed Grade 12.
    • Level 5 in English, Level 4 in Mathematics, Level 5 in Mathematical Literacy.
    • People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
    • Aviation Medical Examination required.
    • Good communication, judgment, decision-making skills, and great hand-eye coordination.

4. Private to Commercial Pilot License

  • Overview: This program allows learners to train from Private Pilot License (PPL) to a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), including Night Rating, Instrument Rating, and hour building.
  • Duration: 24 months (includes accommodation and monthly stipend).
  • Requirements:
    • South African citizen.
    • Aged between 17 to 23.
    • Residing in Gauteng.
    • Completed Grade 12.
    • Level 5 in English and Mathematics, Physical Science is a bonus.
    • Must qualify for a Class II Aviation Medical.
    • Good communication, judgment, decision-making skills, and great hand-eye coordination.
